Security & Protection Services Unit ["SPSU"]

BIS is a Class "A" licensed company through the Ohio Department of Homeland Security which authorizes us to provide both investigative and security services in Ohio. All security and protection specialists are current or prior military and law enforcement to provide high quality security and protection services in Ohio. Most unit members are qualified weapons, self-defense and first aid /cpr Instructors. The SPSU is prepared to provide support for an array of security and protection needs to include:

BIS Interns - Where are they now?

Boerger Investigative Services believes in mentoring students new to the investigative field and providing real-world experience through our internship program. Interns are selected on their academics, prior experiences, maturity and initiative. We will begin featuring those students that have successfully completed their commitment to our internship program. We are proud to have made a contribution to their future success.

Michael A. Barth was an investigative intern in our Columbus office during Winter & Spring Quarters 2008 while he attended The Ohio State University. Mike graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice. Mike was the first recipient of the "Outstanding Investigative Intern" award. Mike was selected for this award based on his superior knowledge, attention to detail and contributions to Boerger Investigative Services and the investigative field. Mike has returned home to Cleveland where he graduated from Padua Franciscan High School and assists with investigative assignments in the Cleveland area. Mike is currently attending law school at Cleveland State University and aspires to be a Prosecutor.

Zachary H. Wilson began his investigative internship in our Columbus office during Summer and Fall Quarters 2008 while he attended The Ohio State University. Zach graduated cum laude with a Bachelors Degree in International Studies and a minor in Portuguese. Zach was the recipient of the "Outstanding Investigative Intern" award for Fall 2008. Zach was selected for this award based on his contributions to Boerger Investigative Services and the investigative field. A graduate of Worthington High School, Zach is currently on active duty with the United States Army.
